2026年9月29日（火）、文京区本郷の赤門オフィスにて、第12回AKAMONセミナーを開催いたしました。

今回のゲストは、障がい者向けグループホームをはじめ、就労支援や子どもの発達支援などの障がい福祉サービスを展開されている、株式会社ウェリオ social works 代表の寒竹真也様です。

社会人になられてからのキャリアは決して順風満帆とは言えませんでした。
新卒で入社した東京海上日動を9ヶ月で退職。その後、任された歯科クリニックで組織崩壊を経験し「原因は自分にある」と気づいたことが、現在の経営の土台になっているそうです。

「リーダーとは、自分より優秀な人をいかに周囲に置けるか」
業界経験20〜30年の幹部がついてくる理由は、ビジョンへの共感と、辛い役割を自ら引き受けることにあるといいます。こうした信頼関係と採用へのこだわりが、業界でも際立つ定着率の高さにつながっているそうです。
また、学生には就職先を偏差値的に選ばないこと、起業するなら20代のうちが望ましいことを語ってくださいました。

「ワクワクしていない時は成果が出ない」と語り、内省の時間を設ける寒竹様。
イギリス留学で、言葉も文化も異なる環境に身を置き、マイノリティとして過ごした経験が、人の気持ちを理解する原点になっているといいます。
今後は海外にも視野を広げ、業界の枠にとらわれず経営者として成長し続けることを目指されています。

On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, we held the 12th AKAMON Seminar at the Akamon Office in Hongo, Bunkyo.

Our guest was Shinya Kantake, CEO of wellio Social Works Co., Ltd., which provides disability welfare services including group homes, employment support, and developmental support for children.

His career has been far from smooth.
He left Tokio Marine & Nichido, where he joined as a new graduate, after just nine months. Later, while running a dental clinic, he saw the organization collapse and realized "the cause was me," which became the foundation of his management today.

"A leader is someone who surrounds himself with people more capable than himself."
Executives with 20–30 years of industry experience follow him because they share his vision and see him take on the hard roles himself. This trust, along with his commitment to hiring, has led to a retention rate that stands out in the industry.
He also advised students not to choose employers by prestige, and said that if they want to start a business, their 20s are the best time.

"You can't produce results when you're not excited," says Mr. Kantake, who sets aside time for self-reflection.
Studying in the UK, living as a minority in a different language and culture, became the starting point for his ability to understand others' feelings.
Going forward, he aims to expand overseas and keep growing as a business leader beyond the boundaries of his industry.
