On August 17, 2026, we held " KYOTO NIGHT," the first Kyoto event of "NSS AKAMON," a project of Nippon Scouting Systems (NSS). For this edition, a new logo, " AKAMON NIGHT KYOTO," was created based on the existing NSS AKAMON logo.

Planned and run by students of Kyoto University, the evening welcomed 76 attendees. Students gathered from Kyoto University, Doshisha, and Ritsumeikan, joined by three Tokyo universities through NSS AKAMON, along with guests from Kyoto City and young business leaders of the Kyoto Association of Corporate Executives.

Hosted by Izutsu-san and Takei-san, founding members of NSS KYOTO, the gathering opened with an introduction to NSS AKAMON by Goto-san and a toast from our representative, Takashi Murakami 🥂

The venue was a corner of Gion Kobu, where teahouses have lined the streets since the Kan'ei era. As a touch unique to Kyoto, two geiko performed "Natsu wa Hotaru" and two maiko "Gion Kouta."

The close-knit style of AKAMON blended with the history and culture of Kyoto, and the room was full of energy throughout.

We now move forward toward the full launch of "NSS KYOTO." If you are interested, please reach out by DM. Thank you.
