2026年2月22日（日）に行った、第１回の国立成育医療研究センター理事長の五十嵐隆先生と病院長 笠原群生先生による、スペシャルトークイベント時に約束してくださり、AKAMONメンバー15名による現場実地となりました。

  4. 石丸哲也 外科診療部長からは、外科について
  5. 彦坂信 形成外科診療部長からは、形成外科について
  6. 阿久津英憲 再生医療センター長からは、研究所について
  7. 松本正太朗　集中治療科診療部長からは、集中治療室のご案内
  8. 諫山哲哉　新生児科診療部長からは、新生児治療室のご案内

将来の医学を背負う学生の皆様にとっても、またとない機会となりました。

後半の見学会では、実際に先生方がご活躍される現場を見学させていただきました。通常は立ち入ることのできない集中治療室にもお伺いさせていただき、難病と闘うお子様や親御様の姿、最前線で奮闘する医療従事者の「思い」に触れる機会となりました。

On Sunday, May 17, at the National Center for Child Health and Development (NCCHD), Hospital Director Dr. Mureo Kasahara organized a hospital tour and special lectures by distinguished doctors.

This event resulted from a promise made during the first special talk on Sunday, February 22, 2026, featuring Dr. Takashi Igarashi, Chairman of the NCCHD, and Dr. Mureo Kasahara, Hospital Director. Fifteen AKAMON members joined this field trip.

  1. Hospital Director Dr. Mureo Kasahara provided an overview of the hospital.
  2. Dr. Kensuke Shoji, Director of the Education Center, spoke about infection control.
  3. Dr. Yuichi Abe, Director of the Department of Neurology
  4. Dr. Tetsuya Ishimaru, Director of the Department of Surgery
  5. Dr. Makoto Hikosaka, Director of the Department of Plastic Surgery
  6. Dr. Hidenori Akutsu, Director of the Regenerative Medicine Center presented on the Research Institute
  7. Dr. Shotaro Matsumoto, Director of the Department of Intensive Care Medicine gave a tour of the Intensive Care Unit
  8. Dr. Tetsuya Isayama, Director of the Department of Neonatology gave a Tour of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

This was a rare opportunity for students who will shape the future of medicine.

During the second half, we observed workplaces where doctors are active. We were even granted access to the Intensive Care Unit, normally off-limits. This provided an opportunity to witness children battling serious illnesses with their parents, and experience the dedication of medical staff working on front lines.
